Celebrate California Women Leaders and Support the CCSWG
Join the California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls (CCSWG) on the eve of Women’s Equality Day for the IMPACT Awards and Fundraiser.’
The Commission is an independent state agency celebrating its 52nd year of action. Our Commissioners are an amazing group of dynamic, accomplished women, who are passionately committed to improving opportunities for the more than 19.7 million California Women and Girls. Our signature initiatives now have widespread state support.
The Commission staff coordinate active initiatives to support statewide implementation of the CA Fair Pay Act and continue innovative efforts to Engage Women and Girls in STE(A)M(Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). The CCSWG receives ongoing funding for staff and operations in the State of California Budget, however, fundraising is key to continuing our policy and program priorities. We are embarking on a strategic effort to raise funds to support our initiatives while simultaneously working to meet the priority mandates of the State Commission. YOU WILL BE CRITICAL IN HELPING US MEET OUR GOALS.

Join the 2020 Club!
2020 marks the 100th anniversary of women in the United States being granted the right to vote. By joining the Commission on the Status of Women and Girls new 2020 Club you are making the statement that women’s rights are human rights and you are committed to ensuring the growth and expansion of our work to continue expanding equity, access and justice for California’s 19.7 million Women and Girls. The 2020 Club offers the opportunity to provide ongoing annual support for the policy work of the Commission .
The 2020 Club operates as a payment plan countdown to the 100th anniversary of Suffrage. Starting in 2017, at $97.00 for 97 years of Suffrage, each year the annual contribution increases by $1.00 until we reach 2020, with the final payment of $100.00. Along the way there will be Conversations with Commissioners, opportunities to work directly on policy priorities and social gatherings.
