Janelle Gudino

Janelle Gudino joined the Commission on the Status of Women and Girls (CCSWG) in 2024 as the Executive Administrator. Prior to joining the CCSWG, she started her journey in state service with the California Department of Education in the Government Affairs Division. Her role within the California Department of Education included being an HR liaison, providing administrative support and supporting the division’s needs. Before joining state service, she has had five years of experience working in the private sector in early childhood education where she had different roles from being a toddler teacher to being an office administrator.

Janelle holds a Bachelor’s in Latina/Latino Studies with minors in Education and Race and Resistance from San Francisco State University. She lives with her husband, daughter and Goldendoodle (Gigi).
