Justin McCoy

Justin McCoy serves as the Public Information Officer for the Commission, working with the External Affairs team to help raise public awareness of the Commission’s policy work, programs, partnerships and collaborations, and accomplishments.

Justin brings with him almost thirty years of public communications experience across a broad spectrum of media channels and markets. That experience includes time serving as an editor and producer for CBS Healthwatch; various advertising agencies roles from production artist to Creative and Artistic Director for local, national, and international campaigns; as a Chairperson of the California Disability Services Association; Executive Director of a behavioral health services organization; and the founder and Chief Creative Officer for an internationally recognized scale model hobby brand of paints and model accessories.
