The statistics are clear: there is a cost to being a woman. Join us as we engage in bold, intentional conversations that illuminate the true cost of being a girl—from emotional tolls and societal pressures to economic disparities. Together, we will confront these realities, uplift one another’s stories, and chart a path toward reclaiming our voices, our power, and our full, undeniable worth.

Content for the day will be driven by data from The Report on the Status of Women and Girls in California ™ created annually by Mount Saint Mary’s University. We will explore the statistics at the opening of the program and hear from trailblazing women in our communities that are facing (and challenging) these narratives. Participants will then gather to experience how Shero’s Rise is addressing the research through our signature Pillars in Action & Pillars in Community. We’ll dance, sing, create and connect to prove that every girl has what it takes to rise when given the opportunity!
