Jen DeGrossa

Special Projects Manager

Jen DeGrossa serves as the Special Projects Manager for the Commission on the Status of Women and Girls where she leads implementation efforts for the College Student Right to Access Act, manages the Women’s Recovery Response Grant Program, and steers the AB 1356 (Reproductive Health Care Services) Advisory Committee.

Previously, she led statewide grant administration efforts for dozens of programs for the Department of Fish and Wildlife for nearly five years. Prior to state service, Jen managed grants and operations for the Environmental Justice Coalition for Water, a statewide coalition of grassroots groups working to build a community-based movement for democratic water allocation, management, and policy in California, as well as the Governors’ Climate and Forests Task Force, a subnational collaboration of 43 states and provinces working to protect tropical forests, reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation.

Jen holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management with honors from Regis University, as well as Bachelor’s degrees in English and Women’s Studies with highest and high honors from the University of California, Davis.
