The California Commission on the Status of Women is comprised of seventeen members. Nine Public Members, six Legislative Members and two Statutory Members. The Commission itself is not responsible for the appointment of Commissioners. The appointing authorities are Gubernatorial, Senate, Assembly, or Statutory.
