Women and Girls Advocacy Day
The California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls (CCSWG) is hosting a Women and Girls’ Advocacy Day planned for March 17, 2027, in Sacramento.
This landmark event will mark the first time in many years that women’s and girls’ organizations from across the entire state come together at the Capitol to advocate collectively for policies that improve the lives of women and girls. It will bring together leaders, advocates, community partners, and organizations to uplift women’s and girls’ voices, advance equity, and drive meaningful policy and community change.

Location: TBD near the State Capitol
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Participants will connect with industry leaders, other women and girl-serving organizations, and help advocate for policies that improve the life of women and girls in California. The agenda, hotel, and event information is coming soon.

Press Event
Participate in the press event to show solidarity for and to raise awareness of the issues affecting women and girls.
Advocate for Women and Girls
Participate in our advocacy training before heading to the Capitol to meet with members of the Legislature to discuss issues affecting women and girls in California.
