California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls Full Commission Meeting
Monday, March 16, 2020
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Notice: In keeping with Executive Order N-25-20 this meeting will be a publicly accessible
teleconference. Please see below for public locations.

One or more of the Commissioner(s) will participate in this meeting at the teleconference sites listed below. Each teleconference location is accessible to the public and the public will be given an opportunity to address the Commission at each teleconference location. The public

- Chair Wilkins calls Commission to order at 11:18am
- Chair Wilkins skips approval of meeting minutes and proceeds to public comment
- Public comment on items not on the agenda: Nancy from San Louis Obispo, CA called to learn more about advances being made around gender equity at the state level to bring back to her local commission.
- Chair Wilkins asks staff to connect with Nancy and receive her point of contact to follow up.
- Senator Mitchell refers Nancy to the CA Legislative Women’s Caucus website for more information.
- Chair Wilkins announces that the Commission will proceed with closed session.
- Adjournment
- Result: The Commission voted to hire a retired annuitant, Pilar Williams. The motion was made by Senator Mitchell and seconded by Senator Jackson.
Vote: 14-0 aye
