III. YAC GIRLS AGENDA
A. Education and Workforce Development Issue Statement
Caden Shepard Choi recommended adding a focus on protecting Title IX to the issue statement
Alex Zucco discussed a Title IX report produced, containing actionable recommendations the group may consider for the Girls Agenda.
Bethany Zhao and Caden Shepard Choi recommended revising the statement to focus on increasing access to STEM courses for underrepresented youth in rural areas and other disproportionately impacted geographic areas.
B. Presentation and Discussion of Bill Proposals by Workgroup Members
Caden Shepard Choi and Bethany Zhao discussed ideas relating to providing more support for STEM courses.
